Official First Pictures

Today we went to Kiddie Kandids and got Tyson's official First Pictures! He is such a cute boy and he did so well! It only took 15 min! They were amazed, I am constantly surprised at how good he is compared to other kids his age, there were so many just screaming and I felt lucky! He is such an angel! I love him so much!

Shout Out To All Working Mom's

This is for all you working moms, and single mothers. I now understand how hard it is! I am very stretched and feel as if I am living two separate lives..at work I am a professional, I am in a supervisor position, and am working towards becoming an official loan officer (to which I am very close). I feel knowledgeable, respected, and appreciated. I have people to clean up after I leave and I can delegate responsibilities as needed. I have many stresses, but overall I feel satisfaction of work that I complete. I have recently moved to a different branch temporarily, to which I feel like I can share the knowledge I have learned from my branch to benefit everyone. All in all I feel important and needed except for I find myself wishing I could be with my son.. My heart hurts to be with him, see him and hold him when im away from him.
Now when I get home I do one of two things, I either pick him up and just hold him why attempting to cook dinner, or let him sleep in his swing while I make dinner. At home I am a wife and a mom, I clean cook and take care of my husband and son, also a full time job. To which I don't feel appreciated, and is there is always something needing to be done. Sleeping is little to none even though I do have an amazing son, every time he moves or makes a noise im up checking on him making sure he is ok. Willie has been so tired lately that he falls into a deep sleep and accidentally hit me in the eye with his elbow so now on top of everything I have to cover my already swollen red eyes with makeup to hide the bruising..not that he meant to or anything it just hurts, he would never intentionally hurt me. When I wake up I feel exhausted, and have to just get up and go..life is very stressfull and tiring right now.
Like I said anyone that works with kids has my sincere appreciation.

Hats off to you!

Sorry all this isn't a very cheerful post, just had to get it off my chest..Im really loving being a mom I love seeing Tyson smile, I can't help but laugh! He brings more joy to my life than I could have ever imagined. I still don't know how I was so blessed! A Family is truly an amazing thing!

Love you all and your special families!

My Growing Boy!

This is the first time we put him in this outfit..

This is the second, and he is almost too big for it! He is also losing a lot of his cute hair!

This is his preemie outfit..we had to fight to get it on, but I wanted him to wear it one more time before he outgrew it.

This is his newborn picture and I just love it.. so I had to post it again.

Time passes so fast! Its unbelievable to me that my son is a month and a half..wow! Here are just a few pictures to show you how much he is growing! Maybe you can't tell, but I sure can! Its so crazy to me!

Hair Color

This one I just had to add cause I think Jamin is so cute! I know they are not great pictures but it was all that I had on my camera, Willie took all the other pictures off the computer.

This is just a post to get some opinions..just give me an honest answer. I was looking thru some older photos and my hair was brown..I can't decide if I like it darker or lighter..let me know what you think.

New Additions..

So last Tuesday, I woke up with a screaming dog, I figured she had to go out potty, so I let them both out and brought them back in, and she continued her very loud screeches..well we had suspicions she was pregnant, and Willie told me to put a pillow in with her, I did and she stopped. I showered and came to check on her and this is what I found..
There was a black one, but it died..tried as I might to revive it. So yes we are a crazy house full of crazy animals, but we love them!

Speaking of animals if you know anyone that wants a sugar glider I have one that I need to let go. I can't give him enough love and he needs a good home! Ill post a picture if anyone is interested.

Daddy and Tyson

I couldn't sleep the other night so I got up and was doing some things around the house and came back to find my husband and baby sleeping like this. It was so cute I had to take a picture! It was way dark in the room so I was lucky to get this shot, my camera screen was completely black and I knew with the flash I only had one chance to get it in case one or both woke up. I got lucky, the shot turned out and neither woke up, Willie didn't even know I had taken it until I showed him!

Body World

Saturday Willie and I decided to go to the body worlds exhibit. Willie was really excited to go, I was less so, but decided I would support Willie. Willie's mom Sheryl wanted to go as well as his cousin Kim. The tickets were pretty pricey, and more so due to Willie's mom purchasing them thru a separate vendor who then charged an additional fee..anyway, our tickets were for 3 PM there was no street parking so we parked in the library which was very close but also had to pay for that..so as we get into the Leonardo museum there are lines everywhere! We were sent to the basement to wait in a line..we had brought the stroller which was mostly a good thing but elevators weren't very accessible so we carried the stroller up and down many stairs, we waited in about three different very long lines. They did have an entertainment of sorts in one of the lines. Projected on the wall was a skeleton who would have a comment box saying what people texted it. Which I particularly thought was interesting due to someone texting it saying the blonde in the white jacket was hot, and since I was the only one in the line wearing a white jacket everyone assumed it was me..which I was ok with, and I know Willie didn't do it because he had left before we moved to this line to go get me some hot chocolate. It was nice to get a compliment from a complete stranger who I will probably never know. Anyway...if you do end up going go to the bathroom first, the bathrooms within the Leonardo stink, and they have trailers that are very much like port o potties..or however you spell it.
After waiting in an hour and a half of lines you can finally go in, you can choose to purchase a headphone speach guide or you can just not be lazy and read all the different things about all the different body parts. None of us chose to buy them, but my mother in law talked a lady out of hers in the museum. It was very crowded inside, and very hot. You pretty much had to fight your way to see anything, and if you were standing too far back from anything someone would come stand in front of you. I thought it would be a museum full of bodies, but it actuallity there were only about 10 full bodies. There were body parts everywhere, and other cool things like the fetus section which was probably the best part besides the full bodies. Oh and this isn't really a museum for kids or those that are skiddish of body parts..there are genital areas on all of the full bodies, and they don't really hide anything..the men hang down and the women stick out haha if that makes any sense.
My experience might have been made worse due to my mother in law deciding she needed to read every caption to every little thing..which would have taken 6 hours at least. We were halfway thru the top half of the museum while she was still at the very first case full of parts..yes she was very slow, and it irritated me very much! Considering she was the only one with nursing school you would think she would know more than us and not have much of a need to read every little detail..but she is Sheryl..
Looking back would I do it again, No. It was very crowded both inside and out so to even enjoy the inside was difficult, it was VERY expensive, and inconvenient. Yeah it was cool to see certain things but is it worth it, I would say no. Just my opinion if your thinking about going.

First Outfit

My sister sent me these pictures at the hospital when Willie took my camera to his work to show off the pictures we had. I love them they are so cute! He didn't enjoy it too much but he doesn't like getting dressed much now. I don't look fantastic so don't pay attention to me! This first one is my favorite!
